Mary Beckert is energetic and passionate, she is a certified instructor (RYT) through yoga alliance, she is also an experienced practitioner as well as teacher. She teaches both vigorous/athletic and therapeutic styles. Mary is an Associate Baptiste instructor, she has completed a number of trainings wirh Baron Baptiste and continues to train with him on a regular basis. Her teaching emphasizes the holistic well-being of the mind, body and spirit. She challenges her students with compassion and is dedicated to help each student realize their fullest potential both on and off the mat. Mary is a bit of a jack of all trades and brings her humor and colorful experiences into her teaching. She loves teaching and hopes to make the world a better place one yogi at a time. Oh ya and she’s a mother, a real estate broker, a hula hooper, snow lover and music freak.
Charles is also certified through yoga alliance (RYT) and is also an associate Baptiste Instructor. In fact Mary and Charles met at their first Baptiste yoga teacher training! Additionally Charles teaches Yin Yoga, a style that he feels compliments the more yang Power Vinyasa. He is articulate and challenging and brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. He came to yoga after needing rehabilitation from mountain bike injuries and after experiencing first hand the effect that yoga had on his mind and body decided he wanted to share the practice through teaching. He has recently begun leading Yin teacher trainings as well as workshops with his wife Mary. Charles is also a licensed massage therapist as well as the Owner and lead guide for Epic MTB Tours. When he isn’t in the studio he can be found playing at the skate park with his son Robbie or cruising the single track on his mountain bike.

- It is my duty, as a teacher or teacher trainee, to hold a sacred space for my students.
Any information revealed by or about my students is confidential. I represent the studio even when I am not teaching or at the studio. - I will strive to be my authentic self everywhere, with everyone, all the time.
- I believe that everyone is welcome, able, and should be encouraged to find their path to their success through yoga.
- I will acknowledge students when they enter, letting them know they belong.
- I will teach to the ability of the class and offer modifications or props when needed.
- No student, peer, or teacher should feel threatened or unwelcome based upon my attention or intention.
- My touch transfers energy, and therefore I will only assist and teach when I am absolutely clear about exactly what I am doing and why.
- I will be impeccable with my word by using only appropriate and constructive language. I understand that gossip and negative criticism reflects poorly on my intentions and myself. I will give feedback with integrity, honesty, and a respect for the experience of others.
- I will hold myself to the highest standards of cleanliness, modesty, and professionalism.
- I will arrive 30 minutes before any class I teach or assist, or 10 minutes before any training session I attend so that class can begin and end on time. I will end each class I teach as scheduled out of respect for my students.
- I will wear clothing that fits and is appropriate for yoga. My clothing will not be revealing or distracting to my students or peers.
- As an ever-evolving individual, I will continue to seek growth and learning through practice and further education.
- I will maintain a current CPR certification and continue my study of yoga.
- I will follow Yoga Alliance’s guidelines of continuing education if I choose to teach in the future.
- The tree of yoga is broad, and all limbs deserve my respect.
- I will teach with integrity, with attention to appropriate sequencing and the needs of my students
